India Today Spice commissioned this cover shoot with Dia Mirza. This was a feature editorial and a cover story.

India Today is an Indian weekly news magazine. It has been in publication since 1975 and is based in New Delhi.

The India Today Group has always been ahead of most other magazine publishing group in India. They launched their monthly lifestyle and fashion magazine, India Today Spice supplement in 2005. In this case, it aims to reach out to the fashion lovers of the metro cities across India.

This monthly magazine, covers almost everything that comes under fashion and lifestyle. The articles and features in the magazine cover subjects on latest fashion trends, fashion designers, jewellery and accessories. In addition, it also features trends in interior designing and designer profiles for the same.  Along with the latest brands that are introduced in India.

Spice is one of the most artistic lifestyle magazines. Above all, it’s royal look and images appeals to the upper class of India. This magazine is free along with the main magazine of India Today and has a huge circulation across India.

In conclusion, it is your monthly guide to all thats trending in the world of luxury. From watches to jewellery, food, fashion, drink, travel and brands is all the the astute buyer seeks.

The different publications and magazines that i have shot Covers for have been varied. For instance, i have shot  for India Today Spice, Platform Magazine and Mother & Baby. In addition to this, I have shot for Publishing Houses like Harper Collins – Saffron and Pearls by Doreen Hassan. Penguin India for The Big Book of Treats by Pooja Dhingra and Party Like a Star by Shilarna Vaze.

I have also shot a cover for a self published book called The Karwar Palate by Sudha Kamat.

Covers are essential to the project as it is what the consumer sees on the shelf and should be alluring enough to make them want to pick it up.
